A friend of mine, Gary Aydelott, a salesman and entrepreneur, wrote this blog as a result of requests from his readers. Ever stuck on how to present yourself or your business? Gary’s got some great examples in this blog article, and I encourage you to read it.
In a recent article I mentioned that you need to have an “Elevator Pitch”, which is simply the ability to explain yourself, your product or service in about 30 seconds or less. Several Rhino readers asked me to elaborate on that concept and perhaps help guide them in developing a “perfect pitch” of their own.
First let me say that I don’t normally use the word “pitch” and instead prefer either demonstration or presentation. These sound much more professional; however, since I started it with the “elevator pitch” we will continue.
